A portfolio of 7 properties, dotted in and around Bedford comprising 138 units which are a mix of 1 and 2 BRs, and a couple of 3 BRs – all in a self-contained format.

Aurus has worked closely and with the help of Luton Borough and Bedford City Councils to deliver this portfolio to both local authorities for use to house those on their homeless registers and in their temporary accommodation facilities.

For this particular scheme, Aurus facilitated a 25 year Referral Agreement between Luton Borough Council and Arpeggio Properties Limited to keep all 138 units tenanted with tenants who qualify under the HRA of 2017.

Tenant Profile: Homeless or at the risk of homelessness, many of the tenants are struggling with mental issues, and learning difficulties. All tenants qualify for Housing Benefit.
